My azaleas are beginning to bloom. This particular bush is in our 'adoption center' garden. A small swath of my yard that contains plants that were discarded, give up or removed from previous gardens; unwanted, unloved and no longer needed. I have over 2 dozen plants and trees and this is the first year they have all bloomed simultaneously. It's a moving experience. As an adoptee myself, blessed with parents who loved me but did not give birth to me, I can only assume this pleases me so much because it reflects a portion of my own life.
